Final pics from Fourth of July!
Enjoy the pictures thanks to the great new zoom lens that Trey gave me for my birthday (again not mentioning WHICH birthday it was!)
Fourth of July
We spent the Fourth of July at Lake Ouachita with Trey's brother (Sean), his wife (Kelly), and their three girls (Kelsey, Erin, and Delaney). For the last few years, Sean, Kelsey and Erin have made the annual Fourth of July trip, but this was the first year in a long time that Kelly and Delaney were able to join us. There was never a dull moment with 5 girls (11,9,7 and two 5 year olds!)! They enjoyed lots of swimming (in the lake and the resort pool), going on boat rides, and innertubing behind the boat! On Saturday night, Nana joined us for a surprise birthday celebration for me! We won't mention the age! Caroline and Amelia were so excited to "surprise" me with all the decorations, party hats, cake and gifts! On Sunday, the girls swam in the pool in the morning while Daddy and Uncle Sean went on a long, hot mountain bike ride! We did more swimming and boat riding in the afternoon then cooked out on the dock. Caroline's friend Olivia from school was visiting the people who own the houseboat next to ours, so those two swam behind the dock until well after dark! Monday the fourth was hot and sunny until mid afternoon when we were surprised by dark clouds, thunder and lightning. We barely made it back to the dock when the first rain drops fell. It was a wild and loud storm! It rained for a few hours and cooled down the temperature to 70 degrees! It was great! We finally made it back out on the party barge for a late swim and then hurried back to eat dinner and watch the fireworks! We all had a great time, but needed a few days to recover! The girls stayed up WAY too late every night, but I can't complain since they slept until after 9:00 most mornings! Enjoy the pictures!

New Blog
Ok friends and family, This is my first attempt at this whole blogging thing! Just trying to make it a little easier to share pictures and our adventures with all of you guys. It still needs some work and I will be adding different elements as soon as I figure out how! So things should improve soon! Let's give it a try!
